Friday Prayers Hold In Bauchi Mosques Despite COVID-19 Spread by JosEast(m): 9:11am On Apr 04, 2020
Friday prayers were held in all Juma’at mosques in Bauchi metropolis and other towns across the state yesterday despite having three confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the state. Our correspondent who went round the metropolis observed huge attendance in mosques amid the new trend of keeping sanitizers, water and detergents at the entrance for washing of hands.

Although the state government has not banned juma’at prayers and church services, it earlier banned congregations of more than 50 persons. The Deputy Governor and Chairman, Taskforce Response Committee on Covid-19, Senator Baba Tela, on Thursday disclosed the suspension of the lockdown while briefing newsmen in Bauchi. He said the suspension followed consultations with opinion leaders, statesmen, ulamas and the clergy, security agencies, healthcare professionals and taking into cognizance of the fact that majority of the people work for daily sustenance.

He said borders in the state would be closed for an initial period of 14 days effective from 6pm Thursday, and enjoined citizens to maintain one-to-one point spacing and avoid overcrowding, adding that social distancing should also be maintained in mosques, churches, markets, weddings and other social gatherings.

Well, the governor is positive so they are not unaware of the seriousness of the virus. If they feel they can still congregate in such circumstances, then good for them.
Even some Christians will still want to gather if not for strict orders from the state governments

States differ from one another but I hope Sunday gathering doesn't provoke a similar one to that Oyedepo episode.

Covid 19 is gradually unmasking Nigeria's satanic regime and their sunni fulani dominated security opperatives.
The incident in Bauchi will give a clear picture to any individual with sound mind that the regime in Nigeria is ''anti Christian'' with a devilish agenda. We have seen many cases where muslims go to mosques in defiance of lockdown with no imam arrested.
If these worshipers in Bauchi were Christians, their Church would have been invaded and overrun by security operatives with pastors arrested.
ONE NIGERIA IS DEAD!

Pastors are their easy targets undecided

They have succeeded in equating pastors with politicians with the tacit support of supposedly Christians who assume wisdom and politically correct.

Oh foolish generation of Christians, who has bewitched you.

Supposedly Christians will even be the ones to help the government hound the pastors.

Anything that relates to pastors tings their ears

Saudi Arabia closed Muhammed's mosque that has not been closed for centuries...

Leave them alone let them be more Muslim than Muhammed. I only pity innocent lives that their stupid act is putting in danger... Come to think of it, their state governor is positive..

pray for our leaders ❤️❤️

Father, we seek Your wisdom daily. Be with people making decisions that affect the lives and futures of our families, communities, countries, and the wider world. We pray that they communicate clearly, truthfully, and calmly — with each other and with the public — and that their messages are received and heeded. May truth and empathy be the touchstones of people setting policies for our protection.

Amin !! ❤️❤️

Yes they have the right to go and pray! We Muslims will resist any attempt to stop us from observing our daily and weekly obligatory prayers. We Have faith in our deen, the Western Nations that the so called knowledgable Nigerians are looking up to are dying like Chickens. This is to show you the power of Prayers and Faith in the Almighty.

May Allah see us Through this trying times, Ameen.

If this had happened in the south, soldiers would have committed murder and manhandled the civilians. And they would have gone scot free.

But now, it happened in the north and there is no record of any security agent running rampage.

If you are a Muslim in the south and you are still seeing yourself as a slave to the north because of religion, then you are a fool.

The north doesn't give a damn about you. Buhari government will always pick the northern Muslim over you any day.

Don't northern Muslims see you as second class citizens already? You better stop deceiving yourself and putting yourself in mental slavery because of religion

The one world Government and religion are coming together. Please share let other know and prepare. The Rapture will happen before the enactment of the New World Order.
On May 14th 2020, the Pope is calling all world leaders and will people to come to the Vatican on a global Education campaign for the a one world religion and government. Once reeducation commences, many will be decieved. And there will be a great fall away. Then the man of sin will be revealed

Exactly, as long as they obey their state rules.
As long as inot more than 50 attendees present and care is taken.
But let's not kid ourselves, it must have been crowded.
