@Embassy4all: I'm no longer in Enugu, I was serving there last year. And it's not the fone's firmware I updated, just the email app.
@zenus: I dont think that will solve my problem. The app refuses to connect to the net and I have been using it for over 4 months before it just suddenly stopped working. But I'll try just in case

You get your freesigner to use you cert and key to sign applications. Open the freesigner go to settings then select either the box 'self sign cert or sign cert' it'll then ask you select you cert, go to the folder you kept your cert in your phone and then select it. Do the same thing for 'self sign key or sign key'. Then whenever you want to sign an app choose 'self sign or sign' depending of where you selected the cert and key
