@all good morning, tracked the sat on 1.8m motorised pan dish with ku lnb at offset position. Signal strenght is as follows.
11557 h 22654 ------73%
11515 h 01735 ------81%
it's better tracked with 11557 h 22654

GUYS PLS WAKE UP!
When ever there's a new bird on board, u don't need anybody to track it and confirm befor u do urs. Just visit lynsat or flysat, to know if it's recieveable in ur location.
We've been told that this new bird is beamed in africa. The map is even here, it just mean that u can track it with 60cm dish.
Let's stop asking already answered question and concentrate on nailing it.

I just nailed the bird using 11557 and at a ridiculous 23 % i think it has to do with my location and weather condition.The second freq 11515 gave me 50%.funny enuf the signals were very very stable.Any comments,suggestions?

@ freshp fine tune ur lnb 2 increase ur singnal strenght and come tell de house ur findings or try ushing 90cm dish thanks**

I don't really think d bird is hard to nail. I nail it successfully wit a 90cm dish few hours ago. If you want to try it, use d tp 11557 H 22654 and it shall be loud & clear b4 u. But u must use an mpeg4 or higher decoder & d audio is in ACC format. Happy hunting. VIVA FTA

@all ve any1 nail dis intel17 wit 65cm dish. I tried it 2day usin hotbird (in place of intel17) but couldn't hit green.

i just tracked the bird  on my motorised dish.the signal strenght reached 95%

Hi all, pls i did not see intelsat17 in the list of satellites on my 4669x, i even checked on the 4653x i was using b4 i got the 69x but did not see it, i saw some empty slots on the 69x wit just 0.0E on them, pls how do i go about adding it, thanks.

57.0E NSS703/Ku, pls does it mean i can use any of them? Also the position of my dish is so that i watch both multi tv and infinity, pls how should i position the dish to get good signal, pls use the multi tv positoon as reference, thanks a lot and God bless you as you help me

Just make sure it's ku and if you use more than one dish, you'll need to set the diseqc port to correspond with the port you have connected it. Eg if u connect the dish to lnb1 on the disecq switch, you must select 1 under your disecq settings.
To track, use mytv as ref point, just lift your dish a little.

@BassyJ, enter this parameters 11498H 02400 into your receiver on any ku satellite then bring down your dish gradually from multi TV position with your eyes on the signal bars on your TV set. at a point the signal will increase sharply just work around it within that area trust me you will surely hit green in no time.
if you have been able to track Intelsat 7/10ku before then you won't miss this one.

wel  u must no dat multi-tv is on top of mytvafrica. So first nail mytv which is intel10 wit 12722h27500 first.Then create your own intel17 wit your dcoder(or use any ku sat)put dis tp 11557h22654  adjust your dish by moving it up u will hit green @ even 22%. Gudluck.

I tracked d sat wt 90 cm today wt signal of 23% here @ IB City. This bird rocks.

haha, i don get am oh, i use 134.0eapstar6/ku track am, thanks to all who helped me to track it
