On 8 April the Nigerian Army received from China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) the first batch of 17 VT4 (MBT-3000) 125 mm self-propelled guns along with SH5 105 mm wheeled self-propelled Howitzers. The Chief of Policy and Plans of the Nigerian Army, Lt Gen Lamidi Adeosun said the process of obtaining the VT4s 'was on for a while.' He went on to add: ‘From this, you can see how serious the Federal Government of Nigeria is in making sure that the Nigerian Army is not only equipped but contains the problem of insecurity.’ Read full news via https://thegazette.ng/nigeria-delivers-first-ton-of-chinese-vt4s

Please give some to the Chadian army, at least they won’t keep them in the garrison to take pictures with them and make good use of them. |
