#Covid-19 : Hon. Mukhtaar Tijani distributes Welfare Packages to communities in Lagos Island To encourage Constituents to stay at home and help contain the spread of COVID-19. General Manager Lagos State Electricity Board Hon Mukhtaar Tijani has kicked off the distribution of food items as palliatives for the people of the lagos island. While handing over the welfare packages put together on behalf of Mr Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and the lagos state Government. MTT as he is popularly called appealed with Lagos Islanders and Lagosians in general to obey the lockdown directives of the Federal Government by making sure they stay at home as that is the only way to contain the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic affecting the world. He further encouraged constituents to continue to support the efforts of the Lagos State Government by giving accurate reports of ongoings, Constant Washing of the hands and also keeping a safe personal hygiene of the community/environment . The distribution is billed to cover over 1000 households in the major communities on the island affected by the COVID 19 Lockdown.
