Message to anyone who is still thinking CoVID19 is NOT in Nigeria or It is a scam:

Valid and verifiable information are on the internet. Your comments shows you lack basic scientific knowledge about Viruses and how they interact with their hosts. Take sometime to read about Viruses and Viral infections....you will understand better.

But then, if you are a student of Economics, using your basic knowledge should also tell you the Economic implications of shutting down Lagos (Nigeria's biggest commercial State), Abuja (Nigeria's Capital territory, the seat of power), and Ogun state...Not to mention States where there are restrictions and partial lockdown.

You think Government will be so foolish and happy to lockdown her pot of soup based on mere propaganda and falsehood You think they are happy with impending recession starring at their faces You think organisations are happy to stop working You think intending tsunami of massive job lose, pay cut that is hitting the world and already started hitting Lagos is a good thing for anyone to desire

If all these my analogy doesn't sink...then I am sorry, I can't help you.
CoVID19 is as real as the air we breathe in...Stay Safe..Pray or make a good wish this thing should be over very very soon. The aftermath of it, if it lingers, not just on the health of the populace, but the long run ECONOMIC IMPACT is not what any country in the world desires.

Let them just call it educational programme. Which one is school classes? How do their students ask questions, how many subjects? How do they monitor performance of students?
But at all no bad.

If it will be efficient, it's ok

This will help the poor student whose parents cannot afford a laptop or smart phone for video class.

I swear to God it's not good to be poor

May God bless everyone reading this comment

Very good development.

If we don't have the virtual or conference technology,(eLearning or e-class) let's make good use of the ones available and really affordable.

Kudos to Enugu

Good, only if parents and guidance can help to ensure their children pay attention to the lessons being taught. Learning period should not be compromised; it shouldn't be a time when parents will say they want to listen to news or music on other stations.

cool

Way to go...

When the brain is left dormant, it becomes impotent.

Since our technology advancement is still below the web, educating the children via radio is a welcome development.

when will all this nonsense stop. Later you people will come and start shouting Igbo Amaka. The same language, the same region but the bitter irony is; unity is abstract.

Abasa, misplaced priority, 95% of students of nowadays will not even tune to the station, they will rather tune to where naira marley is singing, ordinary news dem no listen

Do all the parents have Radio devices?
Do all the Secondary School Students have Radio devices?
Do all the Primary school students have Radio devices?
Are the Teachers, Parents and Students well informed of this development all over the state?

While this is a good development, the problem here is that most times, our government imitate ideas and systems of other countries forgetting that what works there may not work here because Nigeria and these countries are two different societies in all ramifications.

Majority of our leaders don't think deep, lack simple analysis and foresight, that's why they majorly put the Carts before the Horses!

If the Internet was good enough in Nigeria and there was a stable power supply, virtual education via zoom app or adobe connect would have taken the place of this radio classes.
