I’ve just been shaking my head seeing this!

What exactly is wrong with the leadership in this country?

I thought leaders usually surround themselves with smart people to mitigate their own weaknesses and errors in judgment

Nigeria won't get better because people like you don't want it to get better.

You guys vote for a party based on how much you will chop, even the concept of good governance is judged on how much you chop from government.

When PDP was in power, there were many PDP supporters here who turned a blind eye to the problems of Nigeria, and when they could no longer do so, they blamed the opposition. Meanwhile there were many APC supporters here before 2015 who would write long and wonderful epistles about how bad things were in Nigeria and how it was time for change....and how PDP was evil

Since 2015, it is now the APC supporters blaming the opposition for Nigeria's problems and the PDP saying that things are bad, and writing the wonderful epistles.

It has even degenerated to the point where people are not interested in developing the country.

You Nigerians don't want development. You want awoof. That's why you vote for parties that give you awoof like Sure P and Npower. Even fuel subsidy that has been sapping and destroying our economy, you vote for that to stay

Then you come and be saying that Nigeria is a bad country...when you made it that way.l

Go and form your own party and be the change you want to be.

What's the difference between what you just lamented and what the other person said......

The thing is, most Nigerians are looking for a messiah who would save them from their daily problems, they aren't looking for a serious leader who would actually develop them

Secondly, what passes for critique here is usually one side trying to make the other look bad so that their side can take over and chop money. That's what PDP and APC are all about.

Finally, most Nigerians moan about how bad Nigeria is, and don't pay their power bills, don't pay their water bills, don't pay enough in taxes , and excuse corrupt leaders and bad leaders so long as they are on their side. And you expect Nigeria to be better. We also insist on paying N2000 for a service worth 200000 naira. We also treat our economy as a national cake, and don't think about how the cake is baked, or how the ingredients are sourced.

Yes, I know I am indulging in armchair criticism, but the truth is what it is. And when someone points it out, people come and call you a 'you want poor Nigerians to suffer' person. Yet, if we don't start making sacrifices now, things won't improve.

P.S...All we are saying about the APC government, we said it about the PDP governments, and about all past governments. Nothing has changed because we really don't want the corrupt system to change.

So those children are just being captured n kept somewhere within that Nigeria without anyone knowing the exact location?

Hmm, but how can a government say they can't locate the whereabout of children being held captive?

Another thing is that THERE IS NO SIGN OF EMPATHY by our so called leaders in this issue. If Buhari's children were among those kidnapped i think this clues man and his administration would have bn more serious on how to secure the release of these children.

Buhari is surely the most useless president the world has ever seen.
A man that has never taken responsibility for anything in his entire life .
If there is crisis in Boko Haram leadership, isn't that the most perfect time to infiltrate and decimate Boko Haram ?
Nigeria, you deserve that piece of crap.
Have you learnt any lessons going forward ?

I bet not.

Governments do that....including the USA, and even on occasion Israel.

Plus, it was, after all, part of APC's campaign promises.

From which archive did u get your claims that USA has ever negotitated with terrorist in the history of America?
USA, Israel, Russia their mission has always been kill terrorism not negotiate with terrorist

Talk of APC promises, I will agree with you because they are terror driven government

They(the USA) have. A good example...the negotiations around the release of Bowe Berghdal. Also, the release of the hostages in Iran in 1981...among other good examples.

Israel too has also engaged in negotiations (it isn't always they use armed force for extractions, as done famously in Entebbe in 1976). A recent example is the release of Gilad Shalit. Also the return of some bodies from Hezbollah a few years ago.

Russia, both in its former incarnation as the Soviet Union, and now, is the nation that famously does not negotiate with terrorists.

Did Idriss Deby negotiate with them?

Nigerians, I tell you, Buhari's government is Boko Haram's government.

You recall why the world powers who came initially to help us fight Boko Haram left?
