*ANAMBRA LOCKDOWN: OYINATUMBA APPEALS FOR CALM AMIDST UNREST.*

Following the unrest that was witnessed in some parts of Onitsha as a result of the fracas between the security agencies and some youths that lead to the loss of lives of two young people and hospitalising of two officers.

A supernumerary superintendent of the Nigeria Police, Mr. Osita Reuben Agina (OYINATUMBA) has called on the youths to remain calm as the tireless Anambra State commissioner of Police CP John Abang is working round the clock to unravel the circumstances that led to the unfortunate incident.

OYINATUMBA further appealed to Anambra Youths to obey the State government's directives to stay at home and stay safe.

He urged the youths to see the security agencies as partners who are working smart and hard to protect the lives of the citizens and not as enemies.

OYINATUMBA commended the commissioner of police for his swift response in bringing peace and tranquillity to the troubled area and appealed to Ndi Anambra to support the security agencies to maintain law and order as the lockdown last.
