There was pandemonium in Ebem and Elu Ohafia of Abia State on Saturday, April 18; as youths of the Abia communities razed a police station and vehicles.

Prisoners were also released in protests following the alleged killing of 18 years boy identified as Innocent Friday by Police.

It was gathered that since the lockdown has been declared by the Abia state government; police has been terrorising the residents of the commercial centre of the local government area.

In a viral video on social media, some of the youths were recorded burning the police station while releasing detainees at the facility.

Also, a police vehicle belonging to Nkporo Police Station, a distant community from Ohafia; was burnt as the youths marched through adjourning streets and communities within the area.

It was observed that the youths in the area overpowered the Police officers in that station to set the station ablaze.

The police had these coming.
You don't expect people watch themselves being killed by people they pay to protect them and still keep shut.
Violence is not the way but sometimes One have to do what needs to be done
