Constituents move to recall Senator Oduah,call her "use and dump"


Ward Campaign Managers in seven Local Government Areas that make up Anambra North Senatorial District have begun the move to recall Senator Stella Oduah representing them.

They threatened on Wednesday to send a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission to set up machinery for the recall of the Senator for alleged poor representation and building a tall wall around her, thereby making herself unreachable.

The managers had in a previous press conference threatened to demand for her recall if after 14 days if she failed to address their demands.

They said, "Instead of her to address the above mentioned issues,she mobilized her social media e-rats who claimed that the managers demanded a sum of money from her.

"We want to state that Senator Odouah should expose anyone who has approach her for any financial help by the ward managers "


The managers had requested that Oduah should settle them for working hard to deliver her in the two elections periods of 2015 and 2019 in which she emerged the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial zone.

While describing the senator as "use and dump" politician, the managers said she had jettisoned them and started recruiting new set of people across political parties to work for her in 2023 polls.

But on Wednesday, the group threatened to engage in a massive protest against the Senator's "use and dump policy ".

In the statement signed by their leaders, Chief Fabian Ohananya, (Mentor) the group said "we will carry our protest to Abuja, where we will submit our letter for the Senator's recall to the Independent National Electoral Commission immediately after overcoming this present coronavirus pandemic .

Their statement partly read,"She does not remember her constituents again but during election,she will come with 'Greek gifts' to deceive the people".

"All the stakeholders and managers will go to Abuja to ask INEC to choose a date to conduct referendum/recall process for Stalla Oduah after which we will collect the required signatures for her immediate recall ".

"INEC should set machinery in motion for the recall.

"We are not deterred by Oduah's threat of arrest, we are waiting for her police arrest, but we are surprised that Oduah who claims to be a democrat is threatening his election workers with arrest for voicing their frustration.

"We do not blame her, she is enjoying the democracy which some Nigerians gave their lives to entrench.

They added,"During one of the visit to her accenstral home in 2014 by PDP members , she admonished the PDP members whom she claimed had wore tattered shoes and shirts and that if elected, she would make sure that they wore better ones but uptill now she has not fullfiled her promises nor remember these PDP members.

"Even during this coronavirus pandemic challenge,she only distributed face masks without any palliative care for the seven local government areas.

"She has remained unaccessible(she doesn't pick nor return calls including SMS )and unreachable to the PDP faithful.

Party members must pass three different gates before they could be allowed to see her at the discretion of the security men at the gate"

"Enough is enough for her 'use and dump' political strategy".

Efforts to get the Senator on the telephone to react failed as her line rang out.

Some these senators forget the route to their constituency when they win.......and the most annoying thing is that the people calling her out might be waiting for settlement and not for the good of the people......well when a system is upside down anything goes.

This woman always trend for the bad reason.

If we were recalling parliament members that have not sponsored 20 bills in a year this country would have gone far.

The fact is that though Stella Oduah appears feebly beautiful, motherly and soft-spoken, she has steely personality. Her beauty often evokes softness associated with femininity but she is actually often ruthless and high-handed in her official and unofficial dealings. She has been an aggressive go-getter and a hawkish hustler all her life getting big deals in oil and gas industry for her company, which she set up very early in life. She is not easily cowed.

The bottom line is those so-called Ward Campaign Managers threatening to recall her are boxing a rock-solid mannequin: They are doing unnecessary damage to their fists.

Hahaha! It pained them no be small.
