He rode on the hatred for Ajimobi's unguarded utterances ....Not because APC didn't perform. If PDP didn't manage this seeming internal crises well..they will lose in 2023. They don't have functional National excos that can help them...they need to settle their rifts as soon as possible

The word impeachment should be saved for Presidents, who is a deputy governor that will be undergoing impeachment trial....

He can't fire him without the approval of the house. They are both elected in a joint ticket so he must revert to the assembly for any impeachment.
The best he can do is to limit his duties and functions.

To impeached a deputy governor is as difficult as impeaching the governor 'cos it's the same process.

they won't settle it..It's be on before the election and still continuing.there will be a break up into factions and maybe the better faction will take over or decamp

He organized PDP corrona mega rally without his deputy, the Deputy had not being seen months and months ago, his boys are accussing the deputy of looting 250 million Covid 19 donation in to a concubines account, now he is tryng to impeach him

Makinde won Oyo because of two main point, Ajimobi failed to caution himself on arrogance, and the fact that heavy weight like lanleyin and candidate of (ADC, AD, Labour , AA and others) dropped out of the race to endorse Makinde..

and his failure would simply start from his inability to respect gentlemans agreement with all the political parties that merged to give him victory, and his underperfomance as compared to Ajimobi that built bridge, and roads in short period within his first term

I have noticed that most people that speak I'll of this man or against him are people that don't stay in the state or know little about happening in the state.

People of Ibadan are enjoying and relaxed with his style of leadership, he put his people first in every decision as the case maybe.

His management of covid19 cases in Oyo state is second to none without politicizing its cases and compromising the economic activities of his people.

He was among the few state in Nigeria to engaged in aggressive testing of covid19 and also provided highly standardised isolation centers across the state.

He did not allow the number of cases reported by NCDC be manipulated by taking charge of the covid19 taskforce himself because he knew they might used it against him since he was against total lockdown of the state..
