Why a stadium in Nsukka. There's an abandoned world class stadium in UNN. Can't the governor partner with the university to complete that one. Rather than embark on another one. Who is advising Ugwuanyi

At a time where most of the stadiums in this country lie in ruins, why will anyone waste money building another one.
One good road that leads from the farmlands to the city is better than a hundred stadiums because it adds value to life of the people every single day

The project wasnt initiated during the pandemic

Typical yorubaa and envy. Change it from Enugu to Lagos or Ogun, and he write "nice"
you are a mumu man with certification.. what development or positive effect does that stadium has on a common man?? But your shallow sense would always think from tribalistic pov

This Government of Buhari is so dumb and i am ecstatically delighted and disproportionately flabbergasted with enormous gratification and appreciation for the dispensation of such a tendering and mesmerizing information in which the prestidigitation of the concurrent and subsequent matter is thoroughly demonstrated through the innuances alluding to literal and metaphorical context. It is highly imperative to note that, such is the significance of the aforementioned, distortion in any shape or form will result in catastrophic ramifications to which will be the outcome of epic proportions. I thank you for your unequivocal.
Communication did not take place. All in a bid to impress

Why do our leaders keep doing wrong projects? For now, Nigerians don't need stadiums. At least, we know what happened to Abuja stadium that we wasted millions of dollars on.
Road, Power, food sufficiency are crucial and have direct economic importance on people.

For one, Abuja stadium is a necessity. I wish you know how many events apply to use that place every week. The main bowl is not up to a tenth of the stadium complex. Wholesome living is not a function of farming alone.

If we know what to do with sports facilities, they can yield dividends. Farming, like sports, can be done by private individuals without government involvement.
Building of infrastructure, on the other hand, can only be done by government.

The easiest way to siphon public funds is embarking on white elephant projects.

I don't agree with people who say the sport facility is a wrong project, what we should be concerned is amount claimed to have been spend.
Sport is a big industry and most of those who represents this country came from poor homes or how many millionaires children in nigeria are into sport. Our schools sport is dead, with most schools, especially the private, having no sporting facilities. How do you catch them young when we don't provide the platforms to discover them.
These facilities are required across the communities both in the rural and urban areas and should be the responsibility of the LGA to maintain.
Playing football kept me off from vices, I thank God for that, eventhough injuries couldn't let me go further. The very first time I played at Onikan waterfront in the 90s in a state FA cup was a big encouragement to me.
Out there in advance world, LGA, colleges and universities have great sporting facilities because no talent must be allowed to waste, and sport feed many homes in those countries and even in Nigeria.
RIP to Majek, a legend.

that's a state government project, UNN is a federal university, state cannot partner with FG university for any project in the University...the only thing Ugwuanyi can do is to build one for his people, by himself, using state funds, he is doing the right thing because we so much need that stadium, do you know how many inconveniences football tournaments face down here just because our field is not organized? infact, the local government almost sold off that spot, if not for the governor that condemned the act and asked the chairman to refund the cash he collected from the buyer, that was before he started this project........

Enugu Ezike is not part of Nsk LGA....
and for your information, we have lots of organized football teams here, each team represents a particular village, we play tournaments from time to time, though it was halted cuz of the project...
