These were the words of of a prominent global leader (who doesn’t seem to live up to them).

It seems we need to be reminded about where we are headed as a nation based on where we are at the moment

For over 50 years since Nigeria gained independence, it has been plagued with corruption in the forms of bribery, stealing, nepotism, cronyism, tribalism, and other forms of favoritism based on religion.... regardless of qualifications.

There is no justice and fairness in Nigeria. There is little or no responsibility on the part of leaders, starting from the president to the local council members. There is mistrust and division along ethnic, religious, and tribal lines... and political affiliation is based on these lines, not on principle or ideology.

While some of us continue to demand change and good leadership, many Nigerians have never experienced true democratic leadership, and they’re complacent with what they get from Nigerian leaders. They see leadership as a position of reverence rather than a call to service and accountability. The rest of us simply just participate in politics as a means of survival and would do whatever is necessary, our conscience being eroded in the process.

Without Justice, Nigeria will never be great! The country will never achieve it’s full potentials, and time is running out quickly. No nation is immune to failure and Nigeria is failing fast! Only ignorant people ignore the data and believe otherwise.

Take action! Educate yourself and realize how much you have failed as a citizen and how much we have failed as a nation. Be the change the country needs. Start from your community and STOP being an internet warrior for failed politicians.

God Bless us all.
