Remember that he who pays the piper dictates the tune. The governor does not have power to remove a police commissioner who goes against his orders
The case of Enugu state comes to mind when the police commissioner said that he has not received orders from Abuja.

All I’m saying is that it is common Nigerians like you and I that commit all these crimes. If they don’t commit these crimes, will there be need to call police all the time?
