People are thinking Obaseki was disqualified because he refused RUGA for Edo state which the APC leaders want and stood by Edo people during the period of crisis and has little or nothing to do with his certificate.

Even if he defects to another political party and finally gets re elected, he will lose at the Supreme Court and his trial will be one of the fastest electoral trials in Nigerian history.

He might choose to defect but contesting in the forth coming election should be due to his strong conviction that those allegations against him are false and he has strong commitment to the good people of Edo state.
