Friday Olokor

A former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2019 general elections, Uche Nwosu, has called on the South East to apologise to other geo-political zones and get their support for the realisation of the 2023 Presidency.

He, however, cautioned that the agitation of the Presidency in 2023 was too early because it could constitute a distraction to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).

According to him, the emergence of Buhari since 2015 will be the shortest route to Igbo Presidency in Nigeria.

Nwosu, a son-in-law to ex-governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, spoke with journalists in Abuja.

Nwosu said, “It is too early to talk of 2023 Presidency. It is a distraction for the Presidency. No particular zone should be denied the Presidency of Nigeria. I believe in that stanza of our national anthem. Although tribes and tongues may differ, in brotherhood will stand.

“But the South-East cannot get the Presidency alone. I keep telling my people that you can’t be talking of the Presidency and be abusing the South-West and others like the North because politics is a game of numbers and we need their support.

“The South-East should beg other zones to get the 2023 Presidency. We should wait and embark on the reconciliation first

Well, Nigeria can't be doing the same thing and expecting different result...
Somethings are spiritual.
Somethings are physical.
Sometimes progress might just require equity and justice.

I agree with Uche Nwosu on this.

We don't have to continue grandstanding.

We need to appeal to other's regions' consciences.

We need to make concensions where necessary.

We need to reassure these other regions that an Igbo presidency won't be a pay back time. That it won't be used to settle old differences. And that the unity of Nigeria will be safe in our hands.

We can't do it alone. We need allies. Time to start building bridges.

You need to continue your attack on Tinubu, APC, Oshiomole, PMB,Hausa / Fulani. That's the shortest way to get either your Biafra or the 2023 presidency. A blind man is not necessary needs to be told, when it's about to rain. Nobody believes your bridge building. It's too late. You can't be asking for head of Hausa/ Fulani On Monday, Tuesday calling Yorubas different names and on Wednesday coming to build your hypocrite bridge. Your characters are known

God bless you shaa.
Go and meet PDP. He has told you the bitter truth. You served PDP for 21 yrs. You can't use APC to settle scores in 2023.
Evidences have shown, 2003, PMB ran with Igbo as vice president, you didn't vote him. He ran again with Igbo as VP 2007. You all rejected him. Again in 2015 and 2019, you all followed PDP..
Go and take what's rightly belong to you in PDP. No time for emotions

What is vile about my post?? Since when did the truth become vile to una ears? Why can't igbos demand that PDP ensures they get the party's ticket on the basis of 'justice and equity'? Most of your brethren have already started campaigning for Atiku Abubakar while vilifying Yoruba people all over cyber space. Did Yoruba people say igbos should not run or compete? Why are igbos scared of staking their claim to the ticket under PDP? Why are they scared to even broach the issue? Until you guys begin to assert your collective right under a party you have shown unwavering loyalty to, you won't be taken seriously.
Hasn't the leadership style of Buhari justified our rejection of him over the years?

Are you aware that if he had gained power through an alliance with the Igbos, where Igbos are today in the scheme of things, that's where the Yoruba would have been?

But the Igbos are not just interested in having one of ours as president or vice president, no, we are interested in quality leadership for Nigeria. A leader that sees Nigeria as his constituency and not leader that will stratify the nation into 97 and 5 percents.

Meanwhile, we rejected Buhari for OBJ in 2003. In 2007, we rejected him for Yaradua. Then in 2011 we rejected him for GEJ. Now place the activities of this administration in juxtaposition with the activities of these men, has Buhari surpassed in anyway? Aren't we justified?

Las Las, Osinbajo that is VP today, how body be am?

Lol.

I can see our threat to align with the North to deny your darling Tinubu of presidency in 2023 is sending shocks through you people's spine.

You accuse us of politics of emotion, now we want to play practical and calculated politics and you are drinking Panadol for our headache.

And for the record, we are not begging you APC ticket.

The stretagy is simple. We will support a northener in 2023. With supposed block votes from the better half of the South, Middlebelt and at least half of northern votes, a Yoruba candidate is a goner.

Now when our candidate wins, he is supposed to lay the groundwork for his Igbo vice to succeed him. And trust me, if their administration does not stratify the nation into 97 and 5 percents, and does not supervise ethnic cleansing by Fulani jihadists nor did are they nepotistic in their appointments, then his Igbo vice succeeding him would be a walk in the park.

You know why the Yoruba is at crossroads right now? Because they've been defending the greatest atrocity of the 21st century all in search for power in 2023.

But in 2023, you will realize that the worst mistake you would ever make is to stand against the people. By then, Yakubu of INEC and the your Sharia CJN will not save you.

Take this to the Bank!

Stories that touch the heart. Don't you people have qualified igbos that you can all rally around and present to PDP to demand for 'equity and justice'? Why are you people behaving like cowards? Why can't Ndigbo demand for the PDP presidential ticket? It is a simple question. Is Atiku Abubakar more deserving of the PDP presidential ticket than all the politicians of igbo extraction in Nigeria?? For how long will Ndigbo slave for PDP with nothing to show for it? Ndigbo should grow some ballz and quit begging all over the place.

Unfortunately, the Igbos of this generation are not Zik. We've learnt from history.

That we take history seriously is the reason we rejected Buhari twice at the polls because of his activities of the 80s. That your people do not learn from history is the reason they voted Buhari despite the abundant history of his ineptitude and bigotry in the 80s.

And with people like Orji Uzor Kalu and Okorocha getting turbaned in the north, I wonder who is more friends with the North?

Don't take pride in the betrayals of your fathers. It should be a thing of shame.
