Just as aerial view of cities and higher institutions have been trending on NL, here comes that of Awka, the capital of Anambra state, and one of the youngest state capitals in Nigeria. The ancient town was declared capital on 21st August 1991 after the creation of Anambra state.

@lalasticala, we have seen Abakaliki, Oba, Nnewi and Onitsha, so please push Awka forward also. Owerri, Enugu and Aba will be coming soon. I will also encourage NLs to post Aerial views of their different cities in the west, south and north. There are alot of beautiful places in Nigeria but sadly, because we haven visited those place, we wont know. So lets begin to show case our cities more.
