For corona to take someone honourably is better than turning him into a beggar by cutting his means of livelihood due to it(fear of covid19).

If they claim they care, let them leave us to fend for ourselves.

Many school clinics lack functional facilities, and you are expecting these schools to now have isolation centres. I hope that for higher institutions, some randy lecturers will not convert the isolation centres to the popular 'cold room', where babes will be asked to meet them up for proper isolation and treatment. This time around, the babes will be discharged after they have been tested by such lecturers at least twice

Simply put, schools would remain closed in Nigeria till a vaccine against or cure for covid-19 is found.
Many "schools", in Nigeria inclusive of higher institutions lack basic facilities,such as adequate classroom and toilet facilities,and someone is talking of covid-19 isolation centres in schools.

Those parents have been sending there children to do Lessons at the home of some teachers in their neighbourhood. Such parents would rather prefer to have their children attend a regulated school than having them at lessons.

there was a time soyinka said Nigeria sch need to be close for two years so that they can produce quality graduate, these is an opportunity, if the gov, want to build what is called sch, not dilapidated structure and poor learning environment.

This will require every school to get ambulance, won't it? Infrared thermometers should be among the medcal equipment that's mentioned already.

These requirements are even simpler than I imagined. The major requirements here are isolation center and enough medicines/medical gear. A school that can't afford to build a new isolation center should improvise one. For example, vacate one hall of residence or hostel and make it the isolation center. Also, a room close to it should be stocked with the necessary medicines. It's that simple.

I expected that they might have asked every school to build COVID19 test center and make sure every lecture/teacher and student have functioning laptops so they won't have crowded class rooms.

For now, anything to kick start schools is welcome. They will improve as time goes on.
