The UNSC Passes A Resolution To End All Conflicts Around The World by Nobody: 8:09am On Jul 02, 2020
The UN Security Council demands "immediate cessation of hostilities" in conflict zones around the world, due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic.

These "durable humanitarian pauses", which do not apply to military operations against ISIL and Al-Qaeda, should begin immediately and be for at least 90 consecutive days to allow for delivery of humanitarian assistance and medical evacuations.

This is the first resolution related to the coronavirus that the council has passed.

I hope they are not actually thinking it is going to be easy for ceasefires to occur. This is actually the period for warring groups with limited firepower to make advances and occupy territories where covid-19 has chased people inside and govt/rebel forces to their bases or even homes. Guerrilla!
