These are demonic strongholds militating against believers and non believers alike. Holding them down and slowing down there progress. This evil hold are from ancestral spirits, spirits brought into families by there ancestors. These demonic spirits where introduced through idol worship. When people are worshipping idols, they are actually worshipping demons knowingly or unknowingly. These spirits continue to oppress the members of that family long even after the ancestors have long gone. The primary purpose of these ancestral forces are keep there captives in bondage and perpertual stagnation. But as you engage in this prayer points for breaking ancestral evil hold, every hold of the devil over your life shall scatter in Jesus name.

The only way to break evil ancestral hold is through intense warfare prayers. The devil only recognise power, and force. You don’t break free from ancestral holds by gentleness or pampering the devil, You resist the devil through prayers, you attack the devil and cast him out of your life by force. Whatever you don’t want, you don’t watch, this prayer points to break ancestral evil holds will empower you to destroy every hold of the devil over your life and destiny, it will destroy the hold of poverty, barrenness, stagnation, failure, setbacks, etc. You shall be set free today in Jesus name. Okay. God bless you sir. This is a frequently asked question. But I'd try to shed some light into it today.

Your parents who gave birth to you, knows what you need as their child. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't ask them for those things if you are yet to see your parents provide them for you. Likewise, taking your requests to God in prayers which He's already aware of, is like a reminder telling Him that He's yet to do this and that in your life. It is also a means of showing God how serious you are with what you need, rather than just sitting down and hoping manna would fall from heaven.

A relatable or close example is in numbers 14:24 and 30; because of Caleb's zeal for God, during the time of Moses, God promised Caleb a special inheritance amongst the lands the children of Israel were to possess. And after Moses had died, and Joshua had taken over from Him, Caleb was yet to see his inheritance been given to him, So He (Caleb), then went to Joshua and according to what God hath promised him in the time of moses, asked that it be given to Him (Joshua 14:6) and it was so (Joshua 14:13).

God was the one who with His own mouth promised Caleb (through Moses), but Caleb still had to make a reminder to get it. Especially when he wasn't seeing the manifestation of the promise. Had it been Caleb had kept mute, waiting for God to fulfill that promise without reminding Him of it, he may not have gotten his inheritance.

Also note: it is not that God forget things, but doing this is a way of holding God by His word spoken concerning your life, so He can fulfill them.

And if you are particular about prayer point 31, it is talking about thanking God (by faith) for answering each of those prayer points you had prayed.
