We believed that the south may attend western education, but future leaders will always come from military background. Their traditional rulers were made influential and super human. The northerners were given accelerated promotions both in the military and civil service to justify their superiority over south. Everything was to work against the south. We truncated their good plan for their future. ‘I was very sorry for the A.G.: It was a great party too much for African standard. We planned to destroy Awolowo and Azikiwe well, the west and the east’. And sowed the seed of discord among them. We tricked Azikiwe into accepting to be president having known that Balewa is the main man with power. Awolowo has to go to jail to cripple his genius plans for a greater Nigeria” Proudigbo Wiseandtrue Igbochief001 Igboid ojiofor Ideke9000 adabeiku Igbos betrayed Awolowo and the yorubas Balogunodua helinues Sammy07 legendhero osaze coman see ooo Pls read the boldly and see that Azikwe failed u... Betrayed Yorubas In NCNC Betrayed Yorubas and side with Bello Betrayed Yorubas in the first coup Betrayed Yorubas by startin the end of regional government (even tho, Gowon finished the job) Betrayed Yorubas by not voting for Yoruba candidates (Except northerner imposed Obasanjo) 2 Likes 1 Share |

Eziokwuegbuozoo: Skyfornia: Fantasticcc:Keep consoling yourselves You fought and you lost, shikena When last were wars fought one on one Wars doesn't just begin and end in battlefields ,gaining allies is also part of war strategy and it will still be in your credit when the war is won. Anyways, why do you guys always leave out that you also had powerful allies 1 Like |

bigpriik:Britain is a more better country to live in than China or even the USA,and of course infinitely better than the South East,or even when they were a superpower. I doubt you'll find any sizeable number of Britons who will prefer their comfort over the old school idea of being the empire where the sun never rises bla bla bla or the ability to intimidate other nations. Countless wars and countless souls have been wasted from time immemorial by similar offences which triggered the Biafran war. A lesser offence triggered a world war and even the infamous Rwandan genocide. You guys have to move on...nothing like karma is or will happen...it's just the world doing its shits as usual...the universe does not give a f*ck! |

Igbochief001:Yes,you care about their oil. That's why you keep claiming the Niger-Delta. Almost all your states revenues come from there,of course you care. Anyways is this the oil you say is more than enough : Akwa Ibom- the largest oil producer with 31.4% (504,000 BPD) Delta – 21.56% (346,000 BPD) Rivers – 21.43% (344,000 BPD) Bayelsa – 18.07% (290,000 BPD) Ondo – 3.74% (60,000 BPD) Lagos – 2.64% (40,000 BPD) Edo – 2.06% (33,000 BPD) Imo-1.06 % (17,000 BPD) Abia-0.68% (11,000 BPD) As you can see, even the SW produces 4x more oil than you guys. 1 Like 1 Share |

Consoling yourselves that it was because the British were involved in the war, that was why you lost. Ask yourselves if there weren't mercenaries from other countries fighting on the side of Biafra. Listening to only the stories that massage your ego isn't the way to live life. 1 Like |

bigpriik: Not just African countries. I learnt France and some Scandinavian countries covertly supported their struggle for Biafra. Where did Ojukwu get the funds to prosecute a war? Yes, his father was rich, but was his father rich enough to fund a war against Nigeria and Britain? No! The war was funded by allies and fought by foreign mercenaries. Ojukwu armed his people cassava sticks, as the story went. 1 Like |

xcon: There's nothing like Niger delta republic in the making anywhere. The former niger delta republic was purely izon tribe.Who is their leader and where is their office if there is new niger delta republic agitation? Or are you the leader? Have they consulted other tribes? What type of political arrangements do they want? Kindly answer ma as I want to join so as to get out of Nigeria soonest. Nigeria has collapsed irredeemably and it can only become worst let's not deceive ourselves. It's a killing field where human life has no meaning but cow life matters most . |

allcomage:. There is Niger delta republic the day Nigeria will divide you will know that most minority in the Niger delta will not leave Nigeria to form another Nigeria(biafra )where Igbo will dominate and control , their is no need to destroy Nigeria where the northern part contributes agricultural and meat for the country to form Biafra where the SE are purely parasites milking SS oil, feeding on northan food and still dragging SW market. Igbo's are the most greedy people on earth. |

story....it was a war....war is not dancing competition. you go to war to conquer your enemy. They were conquered and nobody cares how it was done. They would have done same if they had the upper hand. Moral of the story is do not start what you cannot finish. Anybody is not happy and wants to continue to make useless noise about bia.fraud war can as well start another one and experience even worst than what their forefathers experienced in the past. |

xcon: Feeding on Northern food? You mean iI food they bought with their own money? If the North feeding anyone for free? When Nigeria breaks up, there will be a referendum. It is only by referendum that the UN will recognise any country. When that referendum comes, it will be the ethnic groups that will decide where they want to belong |
