I honestly haven't read so many of Dele Momodu's countless epistles but I'm glad I read this. Nice read. Salient points put forth without any perceived bias or faction. Well said by a very much maligned elder statesman.

Chai! It's because most of our leaders are career politicians who can't survive outside politics, that's why they are so corrupt.
.A for presidential aspirant or even former president is free to go back to his vocation after office.

The only way this country can progress is, if their is capital punishment for corruption, until then, let's be fooling ourselves.

A nation that derides and sometimes even hates talent, diligence, intelligence and merit in all their ramifications and instead rewards mediocrity, failure, fraud and also felons would always find it hard to make any progress.

This is the reality and bitter truth. Nigeria and Nigerians do not deserve good leaders. I havs always maintained this.
