How women stay with men that beat them up baffles me. I once dated someone who verbally abused me and I know the effect it had on my esteem it took me months to overcome, i still hear the abuses in my head till now and I get emotional about it, then I now imagine a man beating me up and staying in the same house with him. God help women.
