How can you turn a roundabout into a junction? Are you moving forward or backwards? A flyover would have been better or kuku leave the roundabout. |

Nonsense.. Instead of him to build a double flyover there if they really want to reduce traffic, they are doing this nonsense. What is the major difference with this nonsense to what was there before? Abi na another avenue to embezzle funds because I can bet this cost billions of naira. |

The roundabout is still very okay. Our problem is that we don't respect driving rules. I get history with this roundabout. I can site the old Tanterlizer building. |

ikorodureporta: This is another thing. Knowing that that area is a night life hub, all the enjoyment people with alcohol in their system racing hole around 1am or 2am, which of them would wait for traffic light? Accident galore loading. |

myles16:I think what he meant is that this spot was popularly called Allen Junction, not roundabout. The 'popular' Allen roundabout is the one connecting Opebi and Toyin Street, which is the haven for ashawos at night. 1 Like |

thesicilian: You and those who clapped for you are definitely gnorant of the benefits of having good infrastructure in place. Building Infrastructure means physical development. Physical development attracts population which in turn creates demands for goods and services. Meeting these demands lead to economic activities. Economic activities further attract bigger investments via entrepreneurship which ultimately creates myriad employment opportunities to feed yourself and your family. If Nigeria today simply decides to focus on building modern roads like this Allen roundabout that connect every state, city , town , village, street and house for the next ten years.... unemployment will be down to 3 percent for sure. It means world class efficent postal system can be designed with each neighbourhood having its own zip code... good roads alone will create millions of jobs in logistics involving delivery of goods and even services. Back that with steady electricity and stable internet. Millions of new and unexisting business will be created. |

Emanodimo: In urban areas Round abouts are useless and cause slow traffic. . It's only good for very remote areas with very minimal traffic. The person who designed this Allen square did not just go abroad...he opened his eyes and learned how roads should be constructed 1 Like |

Coolcalmcollect:This is not a celebration. I am not celebrating anything, I don't live in that area soooooo! This has no effect on my daily life meaning it matters less to me if there it's there or it isn't. Everywhere and everybody cannot be on the same pedigree of development especially Nigeria and USA or UK. Those countries have perfected their shit and in naija here we still have electricity issues. Comparing and contrasting is useless. It's not everybody that has the penchant for uselessness. |
