The aim of the Apex Bank (CBN) of Nigeria On Its Part Of Fgn Ease Of Doing Business by introducing ATMs to the Commercial Banks seems to have been grossly defeated. banks now have delibrately refuses to repair and Or reload the machine with cash. Here In Owerri despite the fact that all the banks have fantastic and Beautified Atm Galaries, non of them has more than one machine dispensing cash. Before the introduction of POS, the situation was not the best, but it is worst since POS came Into Operation. Bank Officials now operate POS as private business that generate more money to them and sabotaging the effort of the CBN by refusing to load their machines. By this the suffering of bank customers continues to linger. when you enter inside the banking hall to withdraw 5k, they will send you back to use ATM, yet there is no money in it. CBN Should either sanction the erring banks or order them to accept any amount over the counter. Enough Of This Sabotage.
