The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede( SAN) has met with six Governorship aspirants whom he defeated during the party’s primaries.

The meeting is a further display of unity and cohesion with other contestants who lost in the PDP Primaries.

This was contained in a statement issued by Gbenga Akinmoyo, Spokesperson for Eyitayo Jegede Campaign Organisation.

The meeting, a private one was held at the residence of the candidate in Akure.

Speaking after the meeting, Jegede confirmed that there is unity in the camp of the PDP in the state.

Jegede said all the contestants have resolved to work together for the growth of the Ondo State PDP.

In politics, no one is useless, at least each of them no matter how bad will produced 100 votes, that's 600 in total, at least in a worst scenario

Jegede outspent them to emerge as the candidate of the party. Remember that they spent huge amount of money on obtaining forms, they're only looking for ways of getting back their money. They won't contribute anything to Jegede's campaign because they knee that since Agboola Ajayi left, all hope of a Jegede governorship is gone.
