It's unfortunate that the senate don't know their powers after being relegated as rubber stamps. This could be as a result of dining with the presidency and being granted favours.


This is not supposed to be persuasive. As a matter of fact, not sacking the service chiefs could implicate Presidency in this conspiracy, in which case the Senate can proceed with impeachment process but like I said their hands are tired probably because the presidency influenced the leadership of the senate and coming from same party.
