Its week 4 and the repairs are ongoing!

Work-In-Progress: Blasting of the second expansion unit to remove the old joints has commenced.

Process: Using the hydro-demolition robot, the blasting is done with water to prevent mini cracks and for the easy placement of new joints.

Solid bridge can be be built from scratch in 21 days...here we are rehabilitating a bridge, for 4 weeks and work is still in progress!!

Nice one, but then they don't have enough man power

What stops them from deploying more machinery and manpower to work at different expansion joints at a go..
Each day I pass through, I can't help but notice as less as 10 people working at one expansion joint specifically. And we still have 14 more joints to go

Nice one, the pressure on that bridge no be here so it's needed , but they should speed up the work it hasn't been easy for commuters

Thank goodness, I don't work on the island anymore. I feel for those who go to work there from the mainland. The stress nor be here.
