Depression is real and should never be taken for granted. Many at times, when you hear story of people who took sniper, hung themselves... We tend to ask, if the victims were normal? Why will I kill myself? Is normal to ask these and more when youve not been there, because from the surface it doesnt make sense.

What is depression?
Is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.

Having considered the definition of depression, it will be okay to say the sting of depression and incoherent decisions are deadly if victims are isolated. The height of it is when a person's thought is focus of the negative outcome of event and possible humiliation, sadness, loss... that follows. At this point, victims tend to look for escape route, which can be translated to "just end it all". Victims look beyond the events and possible outcome and then focus running away from everything, suicidal thoughts and it execution becomes the order of the day.

Truth be told, is okay to be ashamed of the decision, action, and things we do at times. But greater strength is when you come to understanding that mistakes didn't start with you and certainly won't end with you. You must square up own up and be proud of your decision to let it go and look forward to correcting and making it better (suicide is never a way to making it better).

Ways to overcome depression.
1. Talk to someone (people that have sense of conviction)
2. Don't spend too much time reflecting on reasons it didn't work.
3. Look beyond event and see the broader picture.
4. Whatever you decide, think about those who love you and still want you around.
5. Life challenges will sometimes break you, but your ability to bounce back makes you a hero
Note: It is our collective responsibility to look out for one and other, a little word of kindness is golden, a little token is not worthless.

In the brain cells of depressed patients oxygen level is low. Depression goes away with breathing high dose oxygen. With Hyperbaric oxygen therapy hbot this condition is corrected. Drugs alone may not be effective. Do your research and see for yourself.
