Perhaps you're not aware or you've refused to be aware that the grand prize is for the housemate who gets to win the show. Emphasis on win. What you just said can be likened to denying Ronaldo or Messi the Balon d'or because there is a third party (Kante perhaps) who should win the Balon d'or because he grew up in poverty and he is humble- even though there may be no statistical evidence whatsoever to show that he deserves the Balon d'or for that year.
