The honourable solution here is to allow both Suarez n Messi's contract to run down naturally.

You forgot to mention the ridiculous amount paid to Neymar's father(agent) to get him make the move to Barcelona.

If u have been a Barca fan since 2003, how does that determine d ability of Suarez? It even shows that u aren't really conversant with d conversation u are having. U claim to have watched 90% of Barca matches since 2003. How u arrived at 90% is a mystery. Yet u went on to say Suarez is "old, weak, sluggish, can't dribble, kills counter, lacks passing ability and worn out" yet he has had 191 appearances for d club& scored 147goals. Are u sure it's d same Suarez or maybe u are watching ur tv upside down?

Most of d information u gave here is very unbalanced & untrue. Generalisation which can be shot down with a few facts. D problem is that u are looking at football from d point of view of a player fan & not a football fan. Try to always get ur facts right.

Legend or not, no player can exist without a club. If u are honest with urself, u will realise that it is actually d club that makes d players and not d other way around. But due to marketing & d urge to make money, players are used as marketing tools which gives them godlike status.

D problem with Barca/Messi is a problem that Barca created for themselves. They gave Messi too much power and lost control of their player. They offered him too much just because they felt they couldn't do without him. Eventually, they lost control. Now they want control back. Messi on his own began to see himself as alpha& Omega because d club made him feel that way. Both of them were deceiving themselves. We can now see d result.

Should players be appreciated? No doubt. Players should always be given their due. But no player should be given d powers that Messi was given. That is why Sir Alex always cut his players to size back then. If he felt u were getting too big for d club, he ships u out. Even if u de play heaven& Earth, baba no send u that time.

D players u mentioned like Totti, Giggs, Maldini, Zanetti, delPiero& d likes, didn't have d kind of control that Barca gave Messi. Even Gerrard wasn't as demanding when he was with Liverpool. In terms of honouring their old players, I don't think u no what Barca did for eric abidal. Abidal had a liver transplant which Barca took care of in terms of d cost. They also made sure they absorbed him back into Barca by making him sporting director after he retired. They promised to give him a job whenever he was done playing abroad at Monaco& later olympiacos.

Raul Gonzalez is d coach of real Madrid Castilla that just won d uefa youth league. Ronaldinho wasn't disgraced out of Barca as u said. He lost form because he wasn't taking his football serious. D president of Barca at d time had to intervene several times to try to get him to focus but to no avail.

So my friend, behind d razzmatazz and excitement that footballers bring, there is d business and management side where d strings are pulled. That's d real engine room. I doubt if u even no such thing exists
