The supreme court had hinged this decision on lack in merit .

Shortly after the verdict which had confirmed him the Kogi State Governor for another 4 years, the visibly elated politician fell down flat to thank God for the victory shouting Allahu Akbar.

It is simple deductive reasoning

The Nigerian Government is majorly and unashamedly muslim dominated and controlled. If the government thus controls the church, it is Muslims... same Muslims that burn churches and kill Christian in the North that will be controling the church

Tell yourselves the truth that in UK and US where there is some regulation of the church by government, the government is made up of 90 percent Christians. And so Christians are regulating themselves

To put the church and its finances and everything under government in Nigeria, is to put it under Islam... and ultimately Sharia, at least by influence.
