Governor Obiano is very much popular in the state. If local government elections are done today, APGA will win 21/21 like Obiano won in 2017. The delay of the election is strategic. The intention is to starve the opposition parties of much needed grassroots support before the guber. I believe the election will hold after the guber in January or February of 2022 when the opposition parties are worn out and in disarray after APGA wins the governorship in November.
