There may be demonstration nationwide as the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) yesterday rejected the hike in prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as petrol and electricity tariff.

Ayuba Wabba, the president of the NLC while rejecting the increase yesterday said his organisation has began consulting state organs on the next line of action.

While the price of petrol was increased to N162 yesterday, electricity tariff which doubled more than twice was enforced nationwide on Tuesday. Several groups including the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the increase, calling on the All Progressive Congress (APC) led administration headed by President Muhammadu Buhari to backtrack on its decision.

“It is like Nigerians are being taken for a ride,” Mr Wabba told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja yesterday.

“The increase in price of petroleum is like adding salt to injury.

“The increase in price of petroleum has happened now more than three times in three months.

“Only yesterday they hiked the tariff of electricity.

“The organised labour therefore rejects the increase in price of the product in the strongest terms.

“At the end of the day, Nigerians are becoming poorer and poorer.

“In fact, many people are already on the edge.

“Many workers are already on the edged.

“Certainly, we cannot guarantee industrial peace and harmony, and we will have to call our organs and we will have to also react, but we reject it in its entirety.

“They have betrayed the trust of Nigerians.

“For Nigerians to be protected against the economic challenge that is affecting us,” the NLC president said.

Which protest, you think Jonathan is still your president?

Protests are stopped with paid counter protesters who will give you the Deji Adeyanju treatment to reset your brain to factory settings.

You all entered one chance bus in 2015 and they are carrying you to an unknown destination, just pray.

I hope the protest yields positive result.

The effect of these price increments in electricity tariffs and PMS will be felt most by the common man.

What is NLC? They should be tanking bamboohari instead of wailing upandan. Tankiu bamboohari for the new fuel pump price. It is indeed a welcome development.

I keep telling people, the best way to enslave a people is to strip them of their means of livelihoods so they can depend on the authorities.

This strategy worked wonders in the north through almajirin system and refusal of western education. Now they want to shift it to the whole of Nigeria.

Brace yourselves folks.

I find it very amusing that a regime that borrowed billions of dollars record breaking loans and increased VAT to all time high at 7.5% and electricity, are here increasing price of fuel again. What is more corrupt than this? What happens to all the loans, Abacha loots, and monies they claimed they've saved from TSA and corrupt looters?
Anyway those who voted the evil regime should enjoy their chain.
Those of us that have plans for a better future for our children and their unborn generation are happy with buhari's fulani regime because his evil policies is actually providing the fuel needed to rewire our geo political zones towards nationhood.
For that reason, I hope the suffering and abject poverty in Nigeria increase.
The more hardship increases, the better for our cause for a Revolution. Technically speaking, there has to be widespread suffering, hardship, poverty, despire, and bitting hunger over the entire country before Revolution becomes a reality. The bloody regime is doing well in that area.
Revolution will afford us the opportunity to redirect and restructure our countries into people led movement where all political office holders from president down to ward councilors will earn minimum wage.
DISINTEGRATION OF NIGERIA WILL SAVE MILLIONS OF LIVES FROM FULANI TERRORISM!! SUPPORT IT.

All they do is whine and complain
Is it a must for you to drive a car?
Is it a must to on generator?
Are you aware that petrol depletes the ozone layer and causes global warming?
If you cannot afford petrol for your gen, get an inverter
If you cannot afford petrol for your car, buy a tesla

Which protects?? Do we still have NLC in Naija?

The last time I checked NLC of today is NASS all fused to form the dreaded BuhariAPC Nigeria.

The direct reincarnation of Idi Amin of Ugandan.
The Hitler of Germany.
The Pinochet of Chile
Sadam Hussain of Iraq
Abacha and Shekau of Nigeria.

Most "wickedest'' regime we've ever witnessed

The General, you don't need to worry, Nigerians will always adapt instead of reacting. FG should increase the price of every single commodity, Some Nigerians must get sense by hunger, by force.

Why I love this administration is that the people that are suffering the most, (hausa and Yoruba) were the people that brought it upon the country.

Same time food prices increase, electricity tariff increased, they put stamp duty on all banking transaction, now they want to increase fuel price.

Alot of us there's nothing we are benefitting from this country but they are all making sure they frustrate us.
