Let's discuss. Is this assertion true or false. In the midst of the current debate on the propriety of the recent gasoline and electricity tariff hikes.

Is a lie. The State owns the product hence the assumption is wrong.

The money the government realises from sales of petroleum products belongs to the people hence the sub products should be subsidized.

Interesting viewpoint in support of retaining petrol subsidy.

Capitalist quality services must go hand in hand with capitalist prices ...you can't charge me capitalist prices while the quality of your service is nonsense ..for example my Generator at home has been running a since last night till now for over 12 hours now and the new Tarriff charges me high because the claim I will get a minimum of 20 hours which is a huge lie !!!!!!!!

Again the Buhari govt can't slam people with such capitalist prices when his govt pays socialist minimum wage

Stop preaching to the choir.

The ratio is 65% to the Federation while 35% is the cost of production borne by IOC.

How does 35% payment cost of production to IOC signify ownership?

Whatever, if a sale of $100 is made, Nigeria gets $65 while the ownerships of wells and production costs get 35%

This is the sharing formula

DUMB ASSUMPTION

MORE LIKE PAYING 700 FOR A BREAD QUALITY OF 250 AND YOU SAID WHAT AGAIN?

OP REASON

If I have to pay such amount for petrol let it be first grade quality

If I have to pay such amount for electricity can it please last for only 15HRS AT FULL VOLTAGE...I WILL BE HAPPY

AN NNPC PETROL FINISHES AS IF YOUR TANK IS FILLED WITH AIR.....EVEN LOCALLY REFINED PETROLS ARE MORE CLEAN AND LAST LONGER THAN IMPORTED ONE AND I HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR THAT AND YOU'RE HERE WITH SUCH ASSUMPTION
