The Daughter-in-law (DIL) and Mother-in-law (MIL) relationship whether perceived, imagined or real is the holocaust that has besieged relationships even from pre-historic times especially in Africa,

The African tradition believes very much in the Extended family system such that it is even recognized by our law, thus MAKING IT A MUST TO BE MARRIED LITERALLY TO EVERY MEMBER OF OUR HUSBAND'S FAMILY. In Africa and indeed the whole world, mothers tend to wield a lot of influence on their sons and that makes it a bit difficult for the woman since you would have to manage your MIL or else stand the risk of being "thrown out" of your matrimonial home,

GOOD NEWS!! For the very many women out there going through the DIL-MIL challenges, this problem has been diagnosed and a therapy found for it in the book- the DAUGHTER-IN-LAW RULES; 101 Surefire Ways to Manage (and Make Friends with) your Mother-in-Law!

This simple yet thought provoking book will make you laugh and give you a new perspective,

IT ENTERTAINS, HEALS AND CHANGES LIVES,

Whether you're unmarried, at the beginning of your marriage or you've spent years trying to make peace with your mother-in-law, the Daughter-in-Law Rules provides a revolutionary set of strategies, making copacetic coexistence possible at last!

There is absolutely no need to keep the peace between the MIL and the DIL If they can't get along.
No woman has any business in another woman's house(as babysitter or ailing parent.
Parents should endeavour prepare for their twilight years instead of meddling in their children's lives.

God bless the white man and 'nursing' homes! cool
Yup! Same rules applies to moi if I EVER get old.
The last place I would be found in in any of my kids homes for more than 1 WEEK!

Keep busy bodies ourra ya homes! kiss
If you cannot afford decent child care arrangements for your kids. . . .DON'T HAVE 'EM!
Them old folk need to sit in their houses too and learn to mind their business.
