Been folllowing these Edo elections with sadness and disappointment.

Why the fvck do we put our oppressors on pedestals. Does it matter which party the thief comes from? A thief is still a thief. Last time I checked, Wike and Obaseki are still chronic underachievers. PDP winning battles over Tinubu or anybody else won't do shit for the masses. It's just the same thieves with diferent branding. Switching parties deosn't suddenly change your principles or your leadership skills.

It's high time we stopped playing all these childish APC vs PDP games and start fighting for the true, effective leadership we deserve

Lovely, that's the education we must start but we must understand too, that this was not a victory for PDP nor APC. It is a victory for democracy that the people's voice are allowed to count. Now that that victory has been achieved, we must now begin to educate Nigerians to vote for personality, an educated, credible and tested leader with achievements to show for it. Though we do not support Obaseki but we're happy with the election process cuz this was a victory in letting the people's voice count. We now have the assurance of our other goals going as planned.

You said "all politicians," Amaechi is a former governor of Rivers State and a founding member of APC. The truth is that most of our politicians are selfish but few are genuine so not all politicians will be punished. One day and very soon, Nigeria will get it in terms of democracy, thank you.
