National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has finally reacted to the defeat of the party in just concluded Edo Election. Tinubu in a statement on Monday urged his supporters and partymen to be consoled by their earlier victories and also find the courage to take pleasure in their defeats. He expressed pride at the extent the opposition went just to bring his party down in the contest, saying that it's an indication of greatness. The former Lagos State Governor concluded that against the general belief by some persons, they are just men and not gods. "We should enjoy and take pleasure from our defeats as much as we take from our victories. The extent and length they go to see us down shows how great we are. Our defeats should be a lesson that we are not gods, that we are but men." Naija Politics Hub recalls that some Nigerians had taken to social media to mock Tinubu after the defeat of the APC in last Saturday's governorship election in Edo State. Many reactions after the reelection of Gov.Obaseki had praised Edo People for ending godfatherism, who Tinubu is believed to be one.
