Judiciary workers, under the aegis of Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria, have said they would shut down courts nationwide on Monday in compliance with the directive by the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union to embark on strike

The NLC and the TUC had jointly declared the industrial action to press for the reversal of the recent hike in petrol pump price and electricity tariff.

The President of JUSUN, Marwan Adamu, told our correspondent on Friday that as an affiliate of NLC, the union of judiciary workers was bound by the umbrella body’s directive to Nigerian workers to proceed on strike from Monday.

“The strike is not JUSUN strike. It is NLC strike. As an affiliate of NLC, we are bound by the strike declaration. So, we are joining the strike,” Adamu said.

Asked if the Wedneasay’s order issued by the National Industrial Court in Abuja stopping the planned strike would not be complied with, Adamu said, “the order has not been served on us, so the strike is going on”.

Adamu confirmed that the notice for the strike had been circulated in various courts and judiciary institutions across the country.

Na so

Bubu knows how to useless them before the day of the strike.
Either through court Or use of security and they will end up with a splinter group.

I FULLY SUPPORT FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL

What I don't support is the outrageous INCREASE IN ELECTRICITY TARIIF BY ALMOST 120% . When we don't even have adequate power

The strike is coming pretty late and as such it's purpose may be grossly defeated and misunderstood.

Idiots. If it was during Jonathan's administration, these fools would be forming Rambo. They would have gone on strike amidst protests by the very next day after the increments.

But now under this abokki r e t a r d they call Buhari, they are taking weeks to deliberate nonsense. Same thing that happened when the Fulani Herdsman in chief increased fuel price from N85 to N145. What did the useless NLC, TUC and their affiliates do? Nothing. Now they are talking rubbish.

At the end of the day they would claim that the strike has been suspended in line with the so-called Industrial Court Order.

I really can't bring myself to forgive Jonathan walahi. His gentlemanness put us in this mess.

Judiciary-

Fight for their welfare and pockets but claim they want them to put things in order so we can all enjoy the dividend of democracy but take case of theft of scam go court you will wait tire before ein rich your case and we know who own the judgement between common man and big man

Wonderful... But please which arm of the judiciary workers?

Is it the one that issued a court judgement preventing the strike or the one that has allowed itself to become a traded commodity in the hands of the corrupt Nigerian class?

Nigeria will move forward once we realize that our chief problem lies in the endemic corruption of public officials and not in increase in price of certain social goods and services..

A thousand protests of this nature won't get us anywhere... Instead, we should all collectively protest and shut down the country unless a law is passed prescribing death penalty or life imprisonment without pardon plus confiscation of all assets of those found guilty of corruption...

Till then, Nigeria won't move forward.
