Nice reading,
Isaiah 55:6-7 KJV
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Good day everyone, please I need help both in advice and otherwise. I have been at home for so long after i finished my nysc, so I decided to take loan to start up business, but there was no collatoral apart from in certificates. So I took that bold step but the business collapses after three months. Right now I feel so depress and hopeless. I need advice and help from sympathizers. I don't wants to die now pls. 08067928513

You won't die in the name of Jesus.

I suggest you forget about your education for now. Forget that you went to school. Get menial jobs like cleaning or small scale farming to keep body and soul together until you are able to think straight.

Stay strong brother. Turn to the bible at this time, read it and ask God to come to your aid.

No I think the APC structure in Edo state will be handed over to ize-iyamu

So assuming you're a long standing member of the APC in Edo State you will just sit back and allow the party structures to be handed over to a serial loser who just joined the party less than 12 months ago? undecided

If you think this is the end of Oshiomole politically, you're in for a rude shock. One way or the other, Oshiomole's hold on his zone(Edo North) is still very strong and in the scheme of things, he's still a strong influence in Edo politics..... Unlike a certain Chief Oyegun. I'll expect Oshiomole to leverage on his hold in Edo North and use it as a base for a political comeback. All these analysis and stuff sef nor change the fact say Oshiomole no fit suffer again for him life and he still has enough influence to fix people in positions both in Edo and outside Edo. Abeg make I leave here go hustle how me too no fit suffer again for this life
But apparently Edo north wasn't enough for him, he got served and now he's grasping at Edo north whose ranks Obaseki is coming to dismantle.

Oshomole in my opinion should have let Obaseki continue because the governor enjoys the goodwill of the people.
He would have allowed him to continue thereby retaining his God father status and power to chose who would replace Obaseki as Obaseki would definitely be going for the senate and wouldn't have the capacity to campaign for a successor and senatorial position at the same time.
This is where Oshomole would have dealt with Obaseki by frustrating his senatorial ambition and making sure he doesn't clinch any ministerial or good position on this administration.

There is nothing to get from wherever you want me to get whatever.
I'm referring to the period when Oshomole and Obaseki first had issues.
Oshomole should have just pretended to forgiven Obaseki.
Oshomole greatest undoing was trying to win the battle and the war all the time.
He could have lost the battle by continuing to support Obaseki for second tenure and then won the war by installing a new person and frustrating Obaseki post-governing ambitions.

Nice post.

Edo North Senator comes to mind.

Even though APC is dead already IMO,

If somehow and someway someone in the Tinibu and Oshiomole camp of the APC becomes President in 2023,

Oshiomole will surely bounce back with thunder.
Which is impossible for Tinubu or anybody in his camp to become President.

"...Whether in his home state or elsewhere, Oshiomole’s influence has nosedived significantly, and the huge goodwill he enjoyed over the years, seemed fast gone.

The problem, as several events in the past have shown, is his high-handedness and insatiable lust for control, most of the time, for personal benefits and to massage his ego...."

Why do we all think we shouldn't lose at all? Better to fight this battle and lose than not. You mean after Obaseki removed Oshiomole from the party chairman position, Oshiomole should forgive or pretend to forgive him? Lol!!!!

What would he have lost if he pretended to forgiven him?

Politics is deceptive and deception is an art... Oshomole failed to study the trend. He could have lost the battle of chairmanship.
Moreover, things happened before it escalated to him being suspended from the chairman position.

We have forgotten the beginning of this saga. Obaseki was unhappy that Oshiomole was the one nominating Edo indegenes to Federal appointments meant for the state. This was after Oshiomole only nominated just one commissioner for him. He was claiming other governors were the one nominating people for appointments from their state. Remember many times Oshiomole was willing to resolve this issue, he refused. He was the one that suspended Oshiomole from the party leading to him losing the Party chairman position. At that time, better we right it out and I lose than give up. The irony is with Obaseki being in PDP now, he won't be consulted or asked to nominate people for Federal appointments!
