Both cars don't gulp fuel, but for their size and weight they are good in fuel economy for those categories.

G550 is fitted with a V8

G63 is fitted with V12

generally the V12 should have a lesser mpg than V8 due to torgue and power expected from the engine.

This is entirely false. No G63 comes with a V12. In fact, both the G550 and G63 currently use the same 4.0TT with different tweaks.

The only current Mercedes cars with a V12 carry the 65 badge.

I believe the 2014 G550 used the 5.5L engine that was also on the 2007-2011 E550. The G63 used the 5.5TT.

Fuel economy is probably similar. That NA 5.5L wasn't great with economy.

:yeah....2014 I believe the 2014 G550 used the 5.5L cylinder that was also on the 2007-2011 E550. The G63 used the 5.5TT.Fuel recession is probably similarities. That NA 5.5L wasn't lot with recession.

Young man dont confuse yourself.

Using Units of distance per fixed fuel unit (mpg, km/L etc.), a higher number means more efficient, while a lower number means less efficient.

The V12 would use a fixed amount of fuel to cover a lesser distance making it less fuel efficient i.e lower mpg while V8 uses a fixed amount of fuel to cover more distance making it more efficient with a higer mpg.

I didn't know it was a one off, I don't know everything about cars I just know the new G-wagon after we started calling it G wagon had a G63 fitted with V12.

5L/100km is better than 8L/100km which is better than 12L/100km etc

Which may include swapping out the engines and altering the chassis. So technically you're not buying a Benz but a Brabus on a benz chassis.
