Wise words copied from a Nigerian blog's comments section. This was made in response to the recent impeachment of the NANS president.

N.B: This post is not an indictment on the current efforts of youths to reform the Country. Rather, its a wake up call to us so that when the youths eventually get into power, the mistakes of the past are not repeated!

Another example of why most of us are no different from the leaders we curse everyday. You don't need a soothsayer to predict the kind of gov or senator this dude would turn out to be when he gets the opportunity to represent his people. And yet, he'd sing Aluta songs all day long in their students meetings. Hypocritical buffoon. Most of the idiots who rush to this blog everyday to complain about corruption and call Nigeria a zoo are themselves the reason why this blessed nation is stuck in traffic. You moan daily about why things remain the same but you haven't stopped making fake drugs, selling rubbish body cream, duping people of their lands and money, promising fake jobs, selling rotten tomatoes for fresh ones and pocketing the cash, stealing public funds, organising exam malpractices, offering sex for marks, bribing govt officials, receiving bribe to destroy evidence, lying to your client and colluding with the prosecuting bench, waylaying travellers on the road and dispossessing them of their properties, kidnapping your fellow citizens for money, trafficking desperate youths into slavery and organ reaping schemes, fucking your teenage house girl, sodomising your madam's son/daughter, raping your junior colleague in the office, offering fake employment letter, stealing building materials after collecting your wages, collecting salaries from three different universities but working in one, deceiving gullible congregation with idiotic miracles and taking their money, pretending to love a man or woman while taking his or her money, appropriating funds meant for refugees welfare into your personal account, running baby factory, building estates from 150k monthly salary as govt official, and taking brown envelope from crooks to cover up damaging stories. These are some of the things we do everyday to ourselves but somehow expect our nation to progress and prosper. Remember that whenever you curse Buhari or Osinbajo for your hunger, let your conscience also judge your personal iniquities against Nigeria. Be good to your neighbour so that we can all have a nation to be proud of. Our corrupt leaders are our mirror images and it would be stupid to expect to reap cocoyam after sowing weed. We are all complicit in this game of do as I say but not as I do.

Just shut up!
In 20 years we would start calling our own children thieves, lazy and fraudsters
Like these clowns call us
We are saying the cycle of foolishness stops now!

The bolded can only be real if the foolishness called Nigeria is disintegrated. I hate fence sitters. The crap called #EndSars is simply a copout.

Think deep! THIS post is not against the current youth movement in any way. Rather, its just asking everyone of us to look inwards and take necessary steps to correct our inadequacies so that when power eventually gets into the hands of youths, we wont return to the mistakes our predecessors made.

Disintegration of Nigeria would come as self evident,
But that time is not now
We have to turn our politicians to jelly first, Infact uproot them totally.

This is called an Ad Hominem abusive fallacy "The argument attacks a position by appealing to the despicable qualities, moral turpitude, and over-all lowness and meanness of a person who holds the position"

The OP's argument is already a fallacy

The problem is not the youth, the problem is the system that keeps using money to keep us in slavery by paying an overseer among us
They are already paying leaders in this endsars ish

Yes we are. With less than 50k dollars. Thousands of Nigerians were fed expensive meals. Thousands at a time when food costs are insanely high. Security was provided for thousands of people. Healthcare was provided for thousands of people with less than 50k dollars. There are no leaders. There was no panel set up. There were no meetings there were no big documents read just action and this was done by young Nigerians.

Op, what type of junk is this na. Nigeria has been in existence and have engaged in war that is more than your imagination yet, nothing like disintegration so it's now that people are afraid of war which is what may even guarantee split. Nigeria is waxing strong with unity and we are stronger together

Its evident you think OP is bringing this to counter the apparently awakening youth consciousness while the premises of the writeup is totally different. My concern is what happens post protest.

Bros, it's obvious the system would NEVER allow for anybody with an independent thought rise to power, they pick people like yahyah Bello , Desmond Elliot who would gladly launch Toilets as project and come on National TV to say gidfatherism is not a bad thing.
Can't you see that you can't even express yourself with your dressing? The system won't let you

If the wicked can stop his/her wickedness and begin to do good, the country will flourish Like Cedar in Lebanon.
God bless Nigeria.
