Osun Governor, Oyetola Imposes 24-hour Curfew by Aminat508(f): 8:15pm On Oct 20, 2020

Osun State Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the state.

AMILOADED gathered this was contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Wole Oyebamiji, on Tuesday.

Read Below..

“The Government of the State of Osun note with a high sense of responsibility the unfortunate dangerous dimension the #EndSARS protests have assumed across the country, particularly in the South West States.

In our dear State, but for providence, the Governor would not have been alive to preside over today’s security meeting following the attempt on his life last Saturday.

In spite of the Saturday incident, we have allowed the protest to continue in the hope that the real protesters would take charge of the protest.

Events of the last 48 hours have however shown clearly that the protests have been hijacked by criminals and hoodlums.

As a responsible and responsive government that took the sacred oath to protect the lives and property of our citizens, we will not sit and watch criminals unleash terror on our State.

Consequently, the Governor of the State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, hereby imposes a 24-hour curfew on all parts of the State, effective from 11.59 pm today, Tuesday, October 20, until further notice.

By implication, there shall be no movement except those on essential duties who will be permitted to move around. These set of persons must have valid identifications to move around during the period of the curfew.

All citizens and residents are enjoined to comply with this directive as any person found contravening this order shall be arrested and made to face the wrath of the law.

I enjoin all our citizens to be peaceful and to be law abiding as all efforts shall be made to protect them and their property.

May God continue to bless and keep the State of Osun,Oyebamiji Said.

Remaining Kwara and Rivers...

Na government Una dey carry play? You hear people like Sanwo olu, yahaya Bello and others saying they are in support of the youths, you think they don't know what they are doing.

The youths sef dey carried away, probably because this is the first time they are getting support openly from the international community. Dem come dey overdo things.

I am not surprised that people are happy about these curfews imposed. The protesters in the past few days have made life difficult for some people than the Nigerian government has done since independence

Good day Comrades, congratulations to all Nigerians especially to the coordinators at each centers of EndSARS protest & to everyone that participated in the struggles to make Nigeria a better place, may you all live to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

The brutality against human is frowned at and condemned by The Creator of life and so, all lives matter.

It is a great feelings to see and to know that Nigerian Youths can set a goal and do everything possible in a positive way to achieve it when the need arises. This is a clear signal to our leaders that, after all, The Nigerian Youth is never "A Lazy Yourh"

End SARS was a movement and it came like a Tsunami, no one expected it even the organizers wouldn't have (even though wish) believed it can be this loud

On that note, everyone that made this movement a success must be commended. The coordinators at all centers, the suppliers of all that was needed such as music, food, water etc. everyone who came out and all who wish to join but couldn't do so especially our parents who allowed their children to come out and take back their future, thanks to the Print & Electronic media (international inclusive) that believed in the struggles.
Special recognition goes to foreign partners Kudos to the leaders who have responded positively to the demands hopefully the actions taken will be from a sincere heart. In all, the highest gratitude goes to The Creator of Life for giving a favourable weather.

Those who thought if this can ever happened can now have a rethink that you can never oppress a Nigerian youth without consequence when he/she decided to fight back

Fellow Comrades, it is very important to also know that the battle has just begun, there are many more to come. There are still more issues and demands in the struggles to make Nigeria a great Nation (the true giant of Africa).
It is known to all that, SARS is just a tip of the icebarg in the challenges faced daily by Nigerian Youths to live a decent life. No more SARS but Aluta Continua. It must be made clear; "We can't achieve all at once.

It is time for us to retrieve and go back to restrategized it's time to allow our parents and sponsors to go back and replenish their pockets knowing fully that everyone is still battling with the side effects of COVID-19 and so it will be of a reasonable mind to take a leave for now and prepare to come back stronger.

Know it that, "He/She who fight and withdraw will have strength to fight again

NO MORE SARS BUT ALUTA CONTINUA VICTORIA ASCERTA

God bless Nigeria
God bless Nigerians

Top policemen don't want SARS to end that's why they quickly change the name to SWAT. They make millions from kidnapping, robbery, exhorbitant bail and extortion everyday. Polithiefcians have ready made agents of terror in them. They can't allow the vacuum to exist.

Nigeria is a SCAM!!!

Why having State Aggregators & Focal Persons for Free Business Registration?

The Federal Government says it has offered free business registration for 250,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) nationwide under its recently launched Survival Fund Scheme. The Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Amb Mariam Katagum, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja. According to her, President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration through the Economic Sustainability Committee had announced specific programmes aimed at cushioning the impact of COVID-19 on MSME businesses.

“We have got the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to register 250,000 businesses free of charge.

“In Nigeria, we have a lot of these MSMEs but they are just never formalised, and they stay like that and some fizzle out because they are not able to access credit facilities.

“So part of this component so to register 250,000 businesses free of charge, when you say free of charge, it is this project that pays because CAC will not do it for us free.

Why then are they providing list of Aggregators & Focal Persons for each state?

All states affected by the protest should be on curfew. It is possible that foreign bodies are influencing this riot.for those of you that think Nigeria can survive revolution. I want you to think again. What plan do the revolutionalist have to put in place. The protesters are just reacting to causes, and not actually planning anything. It will only spell regret. People will be like , had I known I would have done this or that. What the president is seeing , you guys can't fathom. People are thinking that when a protest last for one month, That the UN will interfer. Who told you guys that. Hong Kong protested for several months and UN never interfered. This protest is fuelled by a lot of propaganda and as such makes the true sponsor sophistated with global network. The thought of anonymous hackers comes to mind.
