The world was silent when we died.

What did we ask for? What did we do? What caused all this? So many questions directed towards the government/military that we would never get answers to.

How could a country turn on its own people. All because we asked for accountability... All because we asked for good governance... All because we wanted to make our lives better. That was our crime. To them, we don't deserve to live as long as they can fatten their pockets. The Lekki protesters were the most peaceful among all the protesters around the country. Why didn't the military come to shoot the prisoners that escaped Benin Correction facility? why didn't they shoot the thugs that bloodied the streets of Auchi? Instead they sought out calm and peaceful people to unleash their bullets on. People who never wanted it to come to this point. Tonight the government has put tears across the face of everyone of its citizens. These tears do not flow alone.. No... They are followed by unending curses upon everyone involved in the Lekki Tollgate incident. My dear protesters you have done well, you have made your voices heard, you have spoken with a vengeance. Alhough the voices were shut down by the fools at the helm of power, you did something never heard of before in this country and for that we all across the country applaud you! But now is the time to go home. As we see that the government cannot protect us, it is left to us to protect ourselves. A failed government is not one worth dying for. Thank you... Thank you... Thank you!

And as for the military personnel who shot those people, under the orders of whoever, know that you have been cursed from this point on. There is a reason why God exists (although things like this makes people question why He lets evil run free...) and I believe we shall be consoled. Karma holds true!

RIP to all those who lost their lives at the toll gate! This is truly a sad night

The Nigeria government have quickly addressed the international community to enable them use the military...

The organized and simultaneously take over of the peaceful protest by the government is a clear sign that we must continue to speak untill our voices are heard

Therefore, we should highlight our demands and send them to the official social media accounts of the international community...

The few oligarchs can not over power our collective voices...
