American singer and songwriter, Janet Jackson has lent her voice to the #EndSARS campaign, IgbereTV reports.

In a statement, she released to her Twitter account, the American singer praised brave Nigerian youths for their courageous fight for a better Nigeria and said those behind the killings and brutality of EndSARS protesters have brought shame to the nation.

She tweeted:

Anybody trying to make you believe it's a one tribe against another should be resisted.

Youth are united on this one, if nothing else.

In South East, State owned buildings and vehicles are also being vandalized just as is being destroyed in South West.

Same destruction is ongoing in the South South.

If the Igbos are the ones destroying Lagos, then who is responsible for the destruction in South East??

Youths are one on this one, don't let anyone sow seeds of discord.

Another tribe could not have successfully orchestrated the attack on a monarch, except his own people.
