So many people can watch season 1-12 of movie without going out or falling asleep.
We can be on phone from morning till evening without falling asleep but once we are in the church, it will look as if there is an unseen person blowing you breeze of sleep especially when it is sermon time..
It often happen to me but not everytime.. Sometimes I can barely stay awake and sometimes I won't even feel sleepy throughout the who church services..

So what causes this?
Is it tiredness?
Boring services or sermon?
Or nature?

Two things majorly

1. Over saturation of the atmosphere with the Divine that the human senses can not bear especially after an intense move of the Spirit. It's only natural,that's why you sleep after and during private Bible studies


2. Poor revelation/scriptural teaching

Devil don knock dem...

Boredom

Lack of interactivity

Lack of stimulation

Psychological dissociation

Mental weariness

Physical weariness

Lack of good sleep

Poor environmental conditions

When this used to be a habit for me, the major culprits were:

- My dull and lukewarm spiritual life
- A sermon with very little to no engagement

Emphasis on the second one. Even with a dull spiritual life, i hardly sleep on interactive teachings
