Nothing will happen to LASMA.

In two months time, Nigeria will be back to its normal state.

All these noisemakers calling themselves woke youths, parading as activist will be quiet.

Politicians will loot more through the medium of renovating and repairing damages.

Tribalism and religious sentiment will set in as usual. Enough with the social media deceits.

If you are wise, get plugs, connections and cash out with the situation. Else those hoodlum looting palliatives will end up gaining more than you, a social media political activist.
You are a waste of sperm. An unintended by product of a clumsy one night stand in a brothel.

I really do pity this man because the mess in LASTMA is beyond him. Godfatherism is a thing in Lagos and you really can’t deal with some people without stepping on toes of Ogas-at-the-top. Calls will be made and you’ll end up looking like a fool, while they carry on with their madness.

No they can’t change. LASTMA and every other agency represents the average Nigeria. Prior to having uniforms and power, they also complained of the same thing they are doing.

Also the people at the top benefit from the madness. Once in a while they’ll make one person a scapegoat to please the public, then revert to the status quo.
This is painfully true cry

Leave those ones o, They will learn very soon. Shebi others like SARS, etc can even fight small cos they are armed, all these "soft skin Vehicles" like PHCH operatives, LASTMA, Road Safety operatives, V.I.O,etc without arms will learn in a hard way. It's a matter of time.

Is this the best approach?if you must talk to ur men gather them together and do so or better still pass the message across to them via internal memo.we all know your outfit was set up by the owners of Lagos to generate fund and the targets were set accordingly hence your cutthroat charges and the unprofessional behaviours.Your advice and admonition to your men in burgundy trousers is not our concern, the wind of change is gathering momentum every day and will sweep you all off soon.

Talking to them openly is the best ,lastman officers are matured men but they behave like babies,so you need to address them like one .80percent of them are not car owners so they pour out their frustration when they see u on the road . Why blocking a magor road for 30mins just because you want to arrest 1driver is that not madness

Thank you Sir. The problem we face in this country is mediocrity. Not saying the truth and also taming and maiming people because you're in uniform or you're in office.

Well said by GM LASTMA.

LASTMA needs to be re- train and inform them the rules of engagement with drivers (commercial or private). I am quite aware that some drivers are strong headed but there should be a way out to deal with them without any struggle.

AltMon3:
The General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Olajide Oduyoye, has come online to warn LASTMA officials around this state.

In a video shared on the internet, the LASTMA boss warned Officers about the rampant complaint about the Traffic Management Authority that was established to ease traffic gridlock that has become the second nature of Lagos metropolis.

Mr. Olajide warned that the pressure is real and men of the commission need to immediately change its attitude on the road with motorists or the public will turn on them, urging them to calm down.

He also added that henceforth, any LAsSTMA officer caught extorting, being wicked to motorists, or not having proper proof of any traffic offense committed will not just be charged alone, but the Zebra, Commander, and Comptroller of the Zone of the said officer will be charged and punished as well. He urged the comptrollers to call their men to order because Enough is Enough

These days, l have every reason to commend and respect Nigerian youths..

For the first time in my 46years on earth, government and its agencies are actually afraid of the wrath of the populace, spearheaded by the youths in this instance..

Something they have always gotten away with during my ' obedient and timid generation:..

Nigerian youths, again l Stan Una
