Emotion aside, the army is right on this one. It's a slap on the Nigerian army to appear before a civilian panel.

The other day, the army facility was invaded without a prior notice. Please let's respect the military.

Is this one mad ni? A slap on the army's face? In a Democratic government? Are you high on cheap Oshogbo weed? Why do we have foolish people on this platform for God's sake? Gosh!!!

I believe their reason for refusal is off. If only the State can summons the military... then the Panel can because it is State appointed. I was more expecting them to say only a FG panel can summons them . A State should never be in the position to summons a Federal/National agency. Lekki shootings should be investigated by a Federal Panel.

That's just more evidence of the ignorance of those who hold positions of power in this country. If the said person who made that claim was learned, they will understand. The other day, some at the military hospital as aired barred a member of the panel (and press) from gaining access to a the place (morgue) they intended to investigate....only to let them in moments later (which negates the purpose as anything could have happened in that time frame)

The President who is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces is a civilian. If the NASS which is made of civilians invite the President, he has to appear. The NASS has power to impeach him.

So let not the military stand on any high horses. They are there to serve the people. It is the people who pay their salaries. The moment your gateman or security starts feeling too big, then he is ready to lose his job.

I saw your Point, even Lagos Gov should be held responsible, he thinks he is a clever man.

The soldiers responsible should be kicked out of barracks and handed to The appropriate civil authority for prosecution.

Believe me bro, of This is swept under carpet, The nigerian army is going to Dance their own crocodile smiles soon.

Nigeria is changing everyday, it will one day become World model.

As for The politicians, we Are watching to See if they there will be any changes, The Police is now arresting People that Participated in The Protest....this is a sign of Future REVOLUTION!!

If it is a slap on them to come to obey a civilian panel, let them not carry out any attack on civilians, let them move to de barack, but if they attack, it qualifies them to get a slap as to be summoned by a civilian panel.
