Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has appointed Citibank Nigeria Chairman, Yemi Cardoso, to lead a newly-setup committee, as he advanced his move to recover assets that were lost in the violence that marred #EndSARS, the protest against police brutality.

Some days ago, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, after his assessment visitation of some of the damaged properties, said the state government will need no less than N1 trillion to rebuild.
