The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has expressed shock and sadness over the death of economist and stockbroker, Mr. Albert Okumagba.

Igbere TV reports that Okumagba, who died at the age of 56 years, was an investment banker and Obaseki’s ally, who hailed from Delta State.

In a statement forwarded to Igbere TV, the governor said the news of Okumagba's passing came to him as a rude shock, noting that he would be sorely missed.

The governor extended condolences to his wife and the entire Okumagba family, praying that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He also commiserated with late Okumagba's friends, professional colleagues and business associates, noting that his “prayers are with them during this difficult period.”

Condolences..

The Shock that comes with the Death of friends, colleagues or loved ones is one that cannot be defined, explained or contained..

Life itself is Gift From God that should be properly and adequately utilized to the glory and pleasure of the one who gives it, so that whenever we are gone, we would be received into Joy and Bliss in Eternity..

It must feel great being a copycat. Smh.

Albert was indeed big.
He, alongside Madam Ndi Okereke Onyiuke ruled the Nigerian stock market during OBJ second tenure and made mega fortune off it.

Is just that we need to respect the dead, some people don't deserve RIP based on their actions while alive mostly Nigeria politicians. Most stockbrokers back then including Obaseki turn some people to living dead by killing them financially. May God help us all.

Not true.

His company BGL had yoruba people staffing it at the highest levels and I met him several times and conducted several trainings for the company and I am yoruba. At a particular level to be successful you cannot be tribalistic. You simply want the best.
